Snow photography: Sledging and snowballs

Here are a few shots from last winter I would like to share with you. The first, above, is of my friend Jonny, who volunteered to take a snowball to the face. It was tough to capture the impact and keep everything in focus as keeping it on AF would perhaps catch a flake of snow, while manually focusing it would be stupid as Jonny was clearly going to move.

In the below shot, Jonny and another friend, Jake, took a sledge off an icy ramp while travelling at speed. Both shots were tough to expose properly due to the snow but extremely fun to do.
