On a recent trip to the seaside with my son, Henry, I brought some of my friends along. We were in Scarborough on Yorkshire’s east coast and spent most of the day eating fish and chips and playing in the amusements. Towards the end of the day, though, the tide came in and began crashing into the sea wall. Like anyone in their early 20s would, my friends started to flirt with the crashing waves, seeing how long they could stand next to them without getting wet. As you can see from these shots, it didn’t go well. Click any image to launch slideshow.
